Advice on choosing a Mos

I'm enlisting with national guard and i take asvab tomorrow i been study pretty hard i score 90 and above on the 4 base tests AFQT on several practice tests and 80 on everything else with the exception of electronics information being an 60 I'm not sure what i should pick as my Mos leaning towards something in engineering but i spend good deal of time thinking about the military police and if i choose something in engineering i think there is a border patrol enlistment option i could do for a toe dip in law enforcement

What ever you decide, choose something that's going to be helpful when you get out.

if you are planning on going into law enforcement military police would be a good idea. i take it you are going army?

No the national guard i want no part of Afghanistan I was thinking about Joining ice or Border patrol and customs several years down the road none of the city police departments seem like a good ideal unless a local department in the sticks don't want to deal with the nigs

Careful, after the test the recruiter (based on your score) will try to guide you one way or the other. They have quotas to fill after all, and based on your score they might suggest signals intelligence, IT, or electrician. Take your time. You want to pick something that you want, but that also has openings and demand.

Border Patrol is hiring right now BTW. But if you apply and pass the tests, it will take a full 6-12 months to get back a job offer.

Just a heads up. CBPO's are not Border Patrol Agents. Cbpo's are the guys that work at the ports of entry. Still a good job.
