Awesome stuff! Thanks, now here's the issue, my mother's grandfather came from Silesia which we well know was chopped off and given to the Poles after WWII, I'm not entirely sure which town they came from as there's alot of dead ends when researching. I do know one branch of that family went off and settled in Braunschweig c1919 so I'm thinking they came from the area NW of the Vistula river that Germany lost after WWI. Now my mother's grandmother came from Linz Austria, this was well documented in an old family bible that sadly was lost after a fire, but I was able to track her entry paperwork from Ellis Island and her home city was listed at Linz. As for Dad's side of the family the Tamasi's are fairly well known even today in Hungary and hailed from Transylvania while his grandmother was from Bukovina as best as I can tell. Again, thank you, I will use your information well.
