Why is it always mothers who bring that shit up when talking about race? Always the softies, they are. It's one of the reasons I think women should not be allowed in government, the military, or even the polling stations, for that matter. Way too sympathetic and maternal. And naturally, they are, and should be -
"But, but! They're human too!"
"But, but, you have some non-descript Russian Jew in you somewhere that no one can stick a finger on and despite the fact you're able to trace your pure Dutch heritage all the way back to the Renaissance! (I'm the upteenth in a long, long line of Jan Hendrik's and Jan Johannes's and Jan Johannes Hendrik's dating back, according to my father's family tree, to 1600, and probably even before... My mother's father's family tree picks up in the early 1700's with one Jakob Tammo (Jacob Thomas), a blacksmith and farmer).
It's really the only reason I'm anxious about getting a DNA test. I don't want any nasty surprises of the kike variety. Though odds are, if there were any kike, it'd be so insignificant it probably wouldn't show up in some stupid Ancestry.com test, since my grandmothers on both sides have really old Dutch families as well. It also doesn't make sense to me that there'd be Russian Jew in my ancestry if there wasn't really any significant East-to-West immigration to that part of Europe (the Netherlands) by the Jews until at least the mid 1800's. But, as they say, ignorance is bliss.
