I feel that it would be a great addition to the site to have a special category just for shitposts or low quality posts. That way it would make the site more organized and look more professional which I feel is what Anglin wanted with the site update.
Having this we could put threads that are:
1. A re-post (such as when multiple people already post about the same News topic)
2. Spam
3. A moronic question that does not deserve its own thread.
4. Purposely decisive threads
It would also allow moderators to more easily filter through shit and troll tier threads for deletion.Regulars have the ability to move threads so it would be one less thing on the mods as well.
As I already said it would be a huge improvement in the News section as we get tons of reposted stories and it just confuses people.
