I would imagine modern day composers write everything on one of those crazy keyboards, then send the piece to a live ochestra for recording. Synth stuff has been super useful. I played with a cover band for a while and one of the guitarists had some synth device he played his guitar through. For horn parts and stuff, if you didnt know it was coming thru a synthesiser machine youd never know it wasnt actually a horn section. Was pretty cool shit.
A lot of working drummers use synth triggers on theyre drum heads. Its just way easier to eq and best part is no mics on every fn drum.
I like the Rammstien stuff, i dont understand German but the grooves are pretty sweet. The vocalist has some boomer vocal chords! And their keyboard guy is nuts. Lol.
