My party and I arrived via taxi from airport around 11am. All approaches to park were already closed off to vehicle traffic so we had to walk through the filthy leftists to reach the rally. We did not experience violence even though we were surrounded by these disgusting freaks. I did notice that there seemed to be a lot of females on their side. Also we were approached a few times by boomer aged women preaching about peace and love. We reached the park and the men guarding the entrance let us in. I don't think I was there 10 minutes before Cantwell was dousing his face and neck with milk to stop the burn from pepper spray. Soon after that we began to see smoke grenades and tear gas flying around. It was not clear to us where or who it came from. The police started telling us to leave and we basically ignored them. There seemed to be a lot of pepper spraying going on. Some water bottles flying over us. Then our people kicked down the barrier between the two sides of the park. I don't know why the barrier was there or why we decided to take it down. Immediately after that is when the militarized police amassed near the statue. They told us it was time to leave. Leadership from our side seemed to want to comply and we prepared ourselves to run the gauntlet from Lee to McIntyre park. It did seem strange that the police pushed us towards the opposition in the street when there were other exits available. Along the walk to Mcintye I saw a lot of positive interaction among different groups on our side. People offered strangers water and sunscreen. I met Dr. Duke and shook his hand and thanked him for all his hard work. We encountered a minimal amount of resistance on the walk. Mostly boomer types telling us to leave and pray. Close to McIntyre park we saw a small auto accident. The driver was telling us what pieces of shit we all are and then she hit the car in front of her. When passing a gas station we noticed a group of black guys posturing like they had weapons. They didn't pull out any weapons though. Once we reached the park we hiked up the hill and took a break under a tree. Seemed like the best part of the day so far. We heard many people talking about how that was all we wanted anyway, just to take a walk and talk with our people. At this point leadership was not around and we did not know quite what to do next. Confusion continued and we ended up on another side of the park where the group seemed to have shrunk. At this point Sam Dickson made a short speech while standing on top of a table. We started to hear rumors that the national guard was arresting people in McIntyre park. Some guys said to stay put and others said to get out. We stayed for a while and eventually made our way to the parking area where our ride was waiting. I think what I took home from this event is that we do have the ability to cooperate with other likeminded groups. There was little to no infighting between our groups.
