to come back to the subject instead of nigger beer you could try biere de garde its the strong beer of the white man and as it name imply ( keep beer, its a beer you can keep for a long time to age , its was kept in cave like wine and usually is 10-12%)

you can choose from blonde to black with everything in between, you'll have alot of wierd thing like orange peel, rosemary, black pepper, coriander etc you may want to try those. it would be strange in other but those are some chewy beer .

find the couple of one you like and stuff a closet with them and set one aside of each brand so you can drink an aged one on special occasion, it'll mellow out alot.

in the end you will not pay more than for garbage beer

Even though I don't actively drink beer at present, I do love “Biere Sur Lie” that you can store and which keeps fermenting the longer you keep it. As I posted above, I've got two bottles from a few years back (will pick up a few more the next time they release an annual batch of Grande Reserve) that I keep just for future occasions that will call for something more special than Beer Store brews.

Call me a pleb, but I only drink Miller Lite and Coors Lite. I used to be all into craft brews, I even made my own beer. I love a nice, crisp, Czech Pilsner, but I can't justify the cost of a sixxer of Pilsner Urquell (the only pilsner available here), over the domestic lagers. Ales are just not refreshing in the summer. Fuck cider. I've got a bunch of hop plants in my yard, so every year I make about 10 gallons of pale lager, but once that's gone, it's back to the macros.

I like the brown ales , porters , stouts and heavy Scottish and Bavarian ales . Basically liquid bread . If I had to choose an absolute favorite it would have to be The Unknown Brewing Company's Teleporter . That fucking shit right there is about as good as it gets , fellas .
