HAHAHA. As a Wisconsin Goy, I have to say, you guys drink some shitty beers. My favorite is a Wisconsin original named after the White Race's Savior: Moonman. Anything New Glarus is Gott tier though.
This stuff is awesome. Not sweet fruity. Citrusy from the hops and tangerine peel for an amazing depth of flavor.

I hate beer.I love mead, and i'll have a glass of red wine with meals for guzendheit- but i am a scrumpy man.
I quite like Thatchers' Gold, but Westons' Medium-Sweet is incredible.
I don't drink too often though, i used to be an alcoholic

88th- congrats!I'm now a (spiced)mead drinker as well. Gives just enough buzz to keep conversation flowing and tastes too good to guzzle.Never drank regularly, but I have a history of not being able to drink "just a few" beers. Usually ends up being 12 or more.
Maybe I just haven't had a good mead but I find them to be a little sweet for my taste. Everytime I drink it I feel fat as shit. I'll have to give the ones @Alyn mentioned a try though...as I think the concept of mead is bad ass.
Edit: I wrote this post after drinking 5 michelob ultras, and I can already tell my biceps are getting bigger.
They are a bit sweet. I really like the Chaucer's Mead with the spice packets.I need to find a sidecar drink to compliment/counter the sweetness of the Mead for the long late night conversations.

Living in the Netherlands has one benefit, it's close to Flanders (don't call it Belgium). They have the best beers. Duvel is a favorite.
Flanders does make great beers. I really like their trappist styles but Duvel is good too.
Westmalle Tripel Trappist (WTT) is great!
