Our book club report I posted in the Manchester thread:
OK, listen up. A successful Book Club meet was held this past weekend on Saturday 8th July. It took place in Manchester city centre and the weather was uncharacteristically sunny.
In total, we had 11 attendees. (Would have been more if not for a couple of no-shows.)
The event itself was a social where we shared drinks, getting to know each other and discussing aims and future possibilities.
The common understanding of all present was that the purpose of this group is the formation of a Mannerbund; a fascist brotherhood, based on the shared quest for continual self-improvement. We discussed the need for standards (in terms of physicality, discipline, loyalty, learning, etc.) – those lacking the self-discipline to abide by the group standards must be cast off. Our long-term goal is to provide the movement with the quality of human material it needs.
Relating to the need for standards it was agreed upon that there is a need for hard physical training – every man is expected to train his body to a high standard. This includes – but is not limited to – strength/hypertrophy training, martial arts (MMA, boxing/muay thai/grappling) and conditioning (sparring/sprints/kettlebells.) More than half of those present have significant experience in these areas, so we’re off to a strong start.
There will be regular ideological instruction for members. The NS worldview must be thoroughly understood. Compromise is death.
In addition to joint training sessions, plans are in the works for camping, hiking and airsoft (the latter for the buzz, camaraderie, team-work and its tactical aspect.)
To those as-of-yet too cautious to join us: the time is now. You weren’t put on this earth for long. Make something of yourself. Act.
(Those interested in joining the crew should PM me, or post in this thread.)
We know there must be hundreds of like-minded guys out there in the North West. It’s our job to slowly absorb them into a unified whole, and then develop them over time. The ones who are truly committed, and looking to commit to a system of self-improvement, will be considered for admission to the group. If that’s you, get in touch. If not, then please don’t bother.
