At the moment due to work schedule best I can do is a Sunday afternoon. As for venue I'm suggesting a pub or something to that effect in the suburbs rather than the city.

Not sure where abouts you're located (no need to say if you don't want). I'm central/east of the CBD so I'll be suggesting somewhere around Bulimba that's got a decent watering hole.

Sorry for the delay guys between work and other commitments I have been flat out like a lizard drinking.

Sunday 4th September around noon at Bulimba the only one I know of is Oxford 152, on Oxford street so not hard to find and less of the hippie crowd but potentially more yuppies so we wouldn't be bothered. Again I'll reiterate that this would be a general meet and greet as well as book club discussion. If anyone is concerned about privacy/security I suggest Wickr for instant messaging and protonmail for email and details will be given out closer to the date. Any problems let me know. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Hi all,

I was hoping to be away from Fathers Day plans by the time the meeting was set. Sadly I won't be able to make it back to Brisbane in time.

In future (for the next Meetup) if anyone has any suggestions or feedback the sooner the better so we can nail down a time. I'll be honest and say I totally forgot about Father's Day until Friday afternoon.

Hi All,

I've set a date for Saturday October 1st for our first (finally) Stormer Book Club meet n greet. Looking at 1400hrs at the Bavarian Bier Cafe in the CBD, should be relatively easy for parking being a weekend and not too jam packed owing to the time.

For our GC and SC Stormers and those out West I haven't forgotten, I have plans to have meetups in areas closer to you once we get established but my sincerest gratitude if you can make this one.

As per before if you are in please don't hesitate to come and if you need any more details PM and I'll happily oblige. I do use Wickr for communication and its mobile friendly so we can keep in contact quickly should we need to. Looking forward to meeting you all there.
