I dunno why you guys are talking about steroids. Each body type can play their natural role in hand to hand combat with the right training.
If you've got a giant that is going to be your tank, and this goes for anyone lifting weights, it takes an average of 6 years b4 you permanently plateau. I know guys who have gotten that big. You don't need to be any bigger unless you're in the WWE. The one guy I knew personally, let himself deflate bc he was so friggin big that it alienated people.
To take steroids will make you look weird and will put you out of proportion. I have also heard, the gains are not permanent.
Being that big does not make you athletic, coordinated or a better fighter.
It's nonsense. If you're really gung ho about traing/lifting, be gung ho and train in a martial art for your body type along with everyhing else. Have a dedicated training schedule and nutrition plan too, that's very important. Also consider adding calisthenics and Parkour to your regimen. Stretch too so you can kick someone your height in the head.
