Bugged Navigation Menu CSS

I don't know if you've noticed Andrew, but currently the navigation bar looks like this:

I've tested this on the main three popular browsers on W10 and it looks the same on all of them. The #1 news site in all of history only deserves better and these are the changes you can make to your CSS to fix this:

This is what it looks like afterwards (which I believe was the original intent):

I know editing the site CSS for a WordPress site is annoying but it'd really help the site's image.

Bumping this thread since it's still an issue and I even saw it in PewDiePie's video when he showcased the site.
