My expertise is in Single Page Applications (SPAs) and hypermedia-driven Restful APIs. I also have a good eye for design and can make fresh looking layouts.

Much of my time is consumed trying to stay afloat here in ridiculously expensive Commiefornia, but I've been wanting to set some time aside to help create technology for the #AltRight. I intend to set aside about 2-4 hours per week, maybe more depending on what's going on (like during holiday breaks, for instance).

I would love to make an open source video platform that resembles YouTube or Vid.me - this would allow content creators to spin up their own YouTube app, self hosted. Separate instances would be compatible with each other through API standardization and hypermedia, making it trivial for individual platforms to integrate with each other and share content.

I'm generally interested in helping the Alt-Right preserve, archive, and decentralize its media, making it available to to the world without going through central authorities that are likely to censor or purge. Anything in line with that would be great.

I'm also interested in making professional looking layouts / templates for websites. Many alternative media websites are simply hideous (DS looks great), making them come off unprofessional and gimmicky. I would like to avoid Wordpress if I can, it's quite awful and time consuming to develop for. Ghost seems like a drastic improvement over it, so I would probably push for that as an alternative.

Though mods are great fun, it does require buying the game, and it would be better if we supported each other instead of AAA studios.

I love this idea; unfortunately, I'm not qualified. I'll answer the questions though:

1. Experience: c#/.NET (+ pretty much all other Microsoft technologies); HTML5/CSS/JS(+ jQuery); a little Python; a little C; a little C++; a little Java; some old-school languages and proprietary languages (Pascal, COBOL, Modula-2, etc.).
2. Projects to work on: Anything Nazi or otherwise alt-right related. (Think GTA, but you lynch nignogs, lampshade jews, throw faggots off of rooftops or into bogs, etc.).
3. How much time can I invest: Pretty much none at this point. I hope that changes within the next six months.

Is Gimp better than Photoshop?

Learning blender now, will take a while on that though.

I would say Gimp is less user-friendly than photoshop. Where ps has a simple filter, in gimp you might need to do several steps to achieve similar results. But gimp is free and usable on lignux as well as windows and mac.

I install it every so often just so I remember why I uninstall it every time.

PS, one thing I might be able to offer is some admin/overhead assistance, such as setting up a git repo, handling the readmes, pestering slackers to fix their damn bugs, etc.

there's a guy over on TRS that has compiled a cool list of about 80 podcasts and it seems like there are a lot more categories that could be added. For now all we have are these sites that list the new articles on various Alt-Right websites

I have about 10 years experience in most of the Adobe programs (especially Photoshop and Illustrator) and have similar experience in 3d design, specifically Lightwave and Maxwell Render (for photo realistic stills)

I would work on anything but probably more suited to movies/print graphics rather then game design.

I'm in Australia so communication between timezones can be difficult.. but probably 10+ hours per week is a rough gestimate..

I am mostly a 2d artist but I am getting familiar with Zbrush and it's awesome. As a long time fan of shooter games I have been toying with the idea of a game where you control killer drones in Africa. Maybe it could be couched in some kind of virus plotline (excuse), ie, you need to cull all these rabid zombie spooks so they can't escape and infect the rest of the world. I will post some Zbrush turntables soon of some of my drone concepts if anyone is interested.
