Are you close to CLT [Charlotte]? If so, I think that would count. Especially if you are in the immediate metro vicinity: i.e. Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lake Wylie area, etc.

Other than that, you might want to check and see if there are meet-ups in the other major SC cities/areas like: Greenville, Spartanburg, Columbia, Sumter, Myrtle Beach/Conway, Charleston, Anderson/Clemson, North Augusta/Aiken.
