It's becoming obvious their main job is enforcement of the narrative. They can't have people thinking whatever the hell they want to think. To them that means danger and unpredictability.
Most of the higher ups are probably masons as well, which would make it double plus bad if people start thinking outside the narrative.
It's just strange. They're more afraid of a well-dressed, law abiding white person who may think outside the narrative than a feral uneducated black. That's some very heavy programming going on there.
