I've tried a Cohiba and Patagas on recommendation. Not bad. Not worth the price. Montecristo no. 5 is a bit more reasonable. Depends how much you enjoy the activity.

Anyone tried Nicaraguan cigars? They seem significantly cheaper.

Besides not finding cigars all that pleasant, the fact that one cigar costs as much as a month or two's worth of pipe tobacco is a major factor.

pipe smoking is my "thing". It's cheaper, better variety, and to me it's more "White"

I like a couple Seattle Pipe club blends. Particularly plum pudding and Mississippi river. For aromatics, I like Sutliffs private stock Molto Dolce. Its very sweet but you need to dry it for a little bit as its very damp from the tin. Shit, I could go on for days. Lots of baccy in my rotation.

I smoked good cigars regularly for over 20 years until recently when they started screwing up my blood pressure. They are truly one of the true consistent fine pleasures in life.

Cigars are the tastiest form of tobacco,no doubt. There are some good auction-style websites where you can stock up your humidor for a good price.

They banned shipping tobacco in my state, which really sucks. I've had to switch to only pipes, I'm not paying $5-10 for a cigar in the store.

I'm a fan the Drew Estate cigar company. Their undercrown line and coffee infused java cigars are some of my favorites. Their acids are alright.

But I bet their here, I'll actually look tomorrow for them. I go to smoke shops and convienence stores a lot on Saturday's so I'll definitely look for them.
