I don't like it. I understand a reason behind it (dreaded "necroposting"), if you are on forum (BBS) page and not main page with articles to post a comment, but still. If somebody stumble upon some article after 24hrs he can no longer post something interesting concerning subject of article.
Hell, in general I don't like this whole locking of thread thing, be it 24hr or 1 year old or more, or when news websites are locking their old articles comment section, but that's just me.
