The Proposition was really good, with some pretty decent red pills thrown in. Its a retro style "western" set in Australian outback. No magic negros, no empowered women and John Hurt delivers some classic lines lol

I've found you can enjoy a lot of Hollywood fare once you become aware of the antiwhite subtext. The forced nature of it makes it still redpilling in the end.

For example, I watched Taxi Driver recently. The point of the movie is to pathologize idealism: Robert deNiro's character is sickened by degeneracy and wants to clean up the streets, but he is painted as a degenerate himself, and a pervert. What a nihilistic message! But it takes a whole well shot movie to obscure and mock the basic drive for order and decency.

The Shining is an even more subtle example. Kubrick is tainting the white father figure and white civilization itself with a feeling of foreboding and overwhelming evil.

If we can learn from the aesthetics and understand the subtle psychological manipulation we can start to make great films ourselves. If it's so much effort to contort innate drives towards heroism, beauty, and order, imagine what extraordinary films we could create.

I recommend this film as a "feel good" film or something to watch with your missus.

The only black guy in the movie dies too and feminists hated the film for "promoting rape culture" (dont want to spoil the plot for you)

I'll start - I vote for Lord Of The Rings for having the most blue-eyed people in a movie and a story showing that Orcs, Hobbits, and Humans can't live together in peace.

I was planning to watch this with the gf after your review until I noticed it was sci-fi. I'm really not a fan of it at all, shame.

Good sci-fi is about people. The science just sets up a situation where people have to be people and feel people things.
Never seen the movie, so I don't know if it any good.

yeah its only sci fi in that it is set in the future on a spaceship akin to a cruise liner.
there are no aliens, and no out and out sci fi plots. Its just a dark romance really. Its kind of fucked up what he does, but has a redeeming story arc too.

I watched it, because jews moaned, because it could have been a race mixing story, and feminists whined, because rape culture.
Basically imagine being on a 130 year journey, supposed to be asleep the whole time, but 40 years in, Your pod opens, waking you, totally alone in a place abundant with everything. Spends 1 year going slowly nuts.
then wakes up a fit bird, lies to her, gets into her etc. she finds out goes fucking nuts, he ends up being redeemed, happy ending, and OMG did the feminists and critics spit their fucking shit out about it!
