Please set something up where people can contribute safely (without donations going missing) so those ads can be taken down or be more selective of content. Let's hope this works. It's only fair to contribute, as long as the donations get to the intended people. I don't use bitcoin and I don't trust the postal service enough to send cash in an envelope. Compromising with that sort of ad is not the way to go, in my opinion. There are plenty of pro-Asian commenters on DS, they could be clicking on those ads more often than the casual visitors to the site, and not just to help raise funds.

No you didn't. You get those ads because the algorithm figures they might cater to you. Why that is is a question for yourself. Besides, if you can't be bothered to go through the loops to outright donate to the site you're using, do you really find it that hard to click on a few ads that are there in the form they are because of you?

Explain that to the algorithm, that's none of my concern. What I do feel strongly about, and again, that's just my feelz, is the kvetching comming from White Nationalists claiming they get oh so offended by things that are well in their sphere of influence and instead of fixing the source of the problem choose to cry about it to someone else in the hope of making their boo boo all better. All the while claiming being principled. I've seen my share of those, they're the type of guys that get the entire squad killed. You're giving way too much credit to the ad distribution algorithm for this specific network. Just because companies like Google have invested billions to be able to perfectly find and distribute ads to a target audience doesn't mean that this one has. There's thousands of ad networks on the net and I bet a good number of them have very simplistic methods of distributing ads. While your assumption of some sophisticated algorithm catering to one's browsing history might be true, it's equally if not more likely that this network has a simplistic algorithm instead.
