Business cards, calling cards, greeting cards, whatever you want to call them. After contributing a few designs for the Daily Stormer fliers I went back to my work folder and looked at the designs I'd done earlier for these cards. I'd been trying to do these for a while and after struggling with online sites to create a template I decided to try Photoshop once again. Actually Photoshop Elements. Any of you who work with Photoshop understand the learning curve involved and the headaches and frustration that occur. I'm still a beginner at Photoshop. If you asked me how I did these, I'm not sure I could explain it.
I've got three templates that I think work really well. I wanted to stick with the "Keep It Simple Stupid" method and so just altered the top line on each template. I wanted people to be able to take in the whole card and see what is written on it in the blink of an eye. Once it is seen it can't be unseen. I didn't want anyone to be able to say they were "SHOCKED" and "HORRIFIED" at what they saw. No outrageous images or mean words. (Yeah, there's a Celtic Cross but it's in a grey scale and in the background. If THAT offends them then they can FUCK OFF!) Where was I?
Okay, are you in school? Are there bulletin boards in the classrooms or in the halls or outside? Pin one up there.
Are you going out to dinner? Restaurant? Fast food? Take-away? Whatever. Leave one or two on the table for the next customers. Put one between the salt and pepper shakers or maybe a couple in the bowl with the Sweet & Low packets.
Going grocery shopping? Is there a bulletin board there? Pin one up!
You never know where or when the opportunity may arise, so before you head out the door put a few in your pocket or wallet.
Maybe at the next rally someone may hand you one of the cards. If so, chances are that person is a Stormer! Smile and give him one of yours! A good way to get acquainted.
Printing and Cutting
Each card on the template measures 2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. If you're in the U.S., to make sure they print at the proper size, in the Print window where it says Paper Size, select US Letter and then Borderless 8.5 x 11 in. If you just select US Letter the printer will reduce the size of the image and the cards will come out at 1-3/4 inches by 3-1/4 inches. If you're in Europe or England or wherever in the world just make sure the paper is wide enough and tall enough so you get full sized cards.
And use card stock! Don't use standard copy paper! Get something heavier that has a good feel to it. As far as what color paper, that's up to you. I'm using white and I think they look good. Remember, there's really only one color ink, black, with the Celtic Cross in a grey scale so whatever color paper looks good to you, go with it!
One more thing! When you cut out the cards make sure you don't cut across the entire sheet! The lines at the top, on the sides and at the bottom are crop marks to help you cut out the cards properly. If you just cut to those lines you'll keep the crop marks in place for your next cut. Whether you make the horizontal cuts first or the vertical you'll need the crop marks to get good straight lines.
That's about it. If I think of anything else I'll add it later.

I'm happy that I finished these in time for Adolf Hitler's Birthday! So on This Day Let Us Remember…
