Just been a Stormer since Andrew started it up and I read his old blog Total Fascism before that. Andrew said in the article he expected established Stormers to start the threads so I just took some initiative. I'm not gung-ho about being gauleiter or anything. Just a regular dude that wants to do what's right for our people. I'm a student and I engage it very seriously so that takes a lot of my time. Plus my Moms has health issues so sometimes she needs my help.

I am still new to dfw (less than a month) so I dont feel comfortable organizing anything like this here being that I dont know where anything is or how the people are. I just meant anyone who is perhaps under 21. 18 is definitely the cutoff point IMO.

I'm merely suggesting a first series of meetups and for most folks grabbing a beer and/or a burger is the best way to break the ice. Believe me, I don't want it to just be a group for drinking buddies. I've already got those.

In Texas a 17 year old is an adult. Legally that is.

That's just the age of consent for sex, but under 21 is legally underage for drinking. IDC about legal, I was discussing whether it was a good idea to have drinking with underage people present, meaning underage for drinking, but it's not my group, so have at it.

I personally won't be attending any of the functions where alcohol is being consumed, whether the attendees are closer to 8 or 80, but that's just me.

I was addressing Clark on the cut off age. There's no reason to exclude 17 year olds in Texas. I agree alcohol and activism shouldn't mix. If we were established comrades chilling that would be different, but if its a first time meet I would prefer everyone keep a clear head.

It doesn't seem like it's going to happen anyway. We're not organizerd and most people are barely showing an interest or making an effort to meet. Btw to Clark's defense he did say that what he said were only suggestions and that he did encourage strong feedback.. he's not absolutely set on the drink aspect. I am sure that if everyone wanted to do an alcohol free meeting he would be ok with it. At least he is taking initiative which is more then most of us are doing lol
