I haven't been there in a while also,It's probably still a dank pit.I used to mosh it up with all the nazi's back in the day.GWAR lost their lead singer,so I'm not sure what to expect.

I never got into Gwar, but I tell you what - I was a regular at that place from like '91 all the way to '00 or '01. I've seen so many bands there. Type O Negative, Clutch, Pro-Pain, Kittie (don't hold it against me, a buddy paid my way in), Yngwie Malmsteen, Prong... I even saw Dio there in (I wanna say) '99 or '00. So many i don't even remember off the top of my head. I think I even got suckered into going to see ICP once. Lots of good times. Except for ICP - that was kind of gay. Lots of sluts, though, which was perfect for 21yr old me.

I'd be a fish out of water, any more. I'm old, fat, and ain't about to get in no mosh pit at a Gwar concert so I can get beat up and have a 30-foot penis ejaculate green slime all over me.

I still say we should all go meet up at a gun range or something (your avatar inspires me). Even just grab a burger and a beer or something and get our Book Club off the ground. I don't really see any meetups happening anywhere in Michigan... Lots of talk, but nothing coming of it.

Northern Michigan Cadillac book club having our 2nd meet up tomorrow! I'm more like central Michigan and would be willing to drive to meet up with some of you Detroit goys and bring you into the fold. So far, we are just a few guys spread out across the state. Making this work, for me, will require a lot of driving and effort. Hoping others are willing to put the work.

I was there through the 90's as well,I seen some great bands there too.Hey a burger and a beer sounds good to me,or a range.Let me know when your free and we can meet up.Weekends are good for me.
