I had Standard Poodles for years as well as a Doberman and German Shepherd. All great dogs. Actually used the Poodles for duck hunting. All great with kids and all hated niggers.

Agreed, pit bulls are for retarded niggers and beaners. Also, Akitas are known as "pit busters". My presa canario has been in unintentional fights with both pits and Akitas and has never lost a battle. Never killed another dog or a nigger though.

German Shepard. Next best is Golden retrievers, but I hear they get cancer a lot, which sucks.

Australian Shepherds are fantastic. Not only are they beautiful dogs, but they're intelligent and very loyal. I have had an Aussie now for 12 years. He's an old man now, but a trooper. He's been kicked by countless horses and got hit by a truck once and is just now starting to slow down from old age.

if your American i would get an APBT they honestly really great dogs very smart and loyal funny too. only issue is that they need too be trained early on they are animal aggressive and NEVER back down. they are actually great with kids , they are a working breed so they need lots of exercise. beautiful creatures them and Bullmastiffs

GSDs rank 39th for hip dysplasia. If the dog came from good stock, growing too fast and too much high impact exercise as a puppy are the leading causes of dysplasia.

I had one as a kid, best dog ive had.
Funny you mention horses, the reason i got the dog was because as a pup he would chase and nip at the hooves of the owners horses and had been kicked several times so he was given to me.

IMO Cane Corsi are the best protection breed, but they aren't suitable for first time owners. I do Schutzhund with mine. Even though he's a 'sport' dog, he made the ADT guy at the door mess his shorts.
