DS blocking (dynamic) mobile IP ranges?

tried to access DS yesterday several different times and got the error tht my username couldnt sign in thru that IP address.

i had the following IPs, which are T-Mobile:

172.56.39.xx

172.56.38.xx

Mobile providers in UK block the Daily Stormer as an over 18 site. To unblock it you need to give your passport details to your mobile provider in order to get the site unblocked.

this was from the DS site though, a little red bar at the top of the login popup

I had that problem about a year ago. Lots of emails back and forth with DS staff, no one could figure it out.

Finally I used an old twitter account and it let me log in.

Why? How? WTF? I dont have a clue.

You need to change your IP address to Static type. I had to look this up myself. Here are directions for an Android phone.

I just had this happen to me. I'm using an iPhone 5S. All I did was close all apps and clear safari data.

After I logged in under a Static IP, I changed my IP back to a DCHP type and I stayed logged in to the site.

i have a small portable router or hotspot and i dont really know to set it. i think i can get a different IP but it might be just an internal IP

probably i will just get an VPN service for a year

Is paying for one the only way to get a legit VPN? Who do you recommend?

i was gonna go with Private Internet Access as i've used them before a few years ago although i've heard that they've got a lot of customers and the speeds are somewhat lower now. i was also considering TorGuard.

any of the free ones are likely overloaded or they could be collecting info on you, which wouldnt really bother since all i do is browse a few WN sites and make mild comments.

if you google there used to be a list of the Top 8 VPNs iirc but that was a few years ago.

also if you start a thread on VPNs there are likely other people on here with better, more up to date info

I use PIA. Seems fine to me. Paid with a Walmart giftcard, which I bought in cash, so I didn't have to identify myself.
