every update leaves you with retarded issues to fix, some very difficult to undo.

this last one, which added paint 3d, has left my primary system locked at login because the lock screen, where you click to then enter your login, instantly resfreshes no matter what.

i cannot even get a field to enter login, and i've googled my balls off for 2 days and cannot get anywhere with it.

its a simple fix, if you could get to the desktop but in this case i cant.

im a roll shit back to fuckin win 95 if i must or go linux.

beyond that of course MS records even your keystrokes ive heard, of course, i dont give a shit, fuck with me plz i'm too old to fight too drunk to run and i got a k98 i aint kilt no one with yet...pack a lunch niggers...

anywho...fuck windows 10.

almost anything would be preferable to nightmare 3 day downtimes due to a simple god damn update.

Cannot agree more. Plus Adobe Flash is super vulnerable no matter what Windows OS you have.

Dude, you don't need flash anymore, because videos are mostly html5 - the OS I use never had flash support, but I'm still watching jewtube on it!

Time to become a man and use BSD: Linux sucks (I used Debian untill they fucked up the init system), especially the distros with systemd, the "second kernell" or whatever the hell it is that shit!

the windows 8/10 is a real trash created with the intention of spying and not to be practical, I had a huge regret move in a windows 8, nothing has been changed, the concept of frames/windows of Windows 7 remains the primary mode of use/control of a computer, nothing else was added nothing very "important"
current operating systems were made in such a way that the user is limited to the control of your own machine/computer, briefly was created for dumb people/ordinary consumers who used for basic things (sending messages/photos) the times of 1990 in which 90% of internet users were from European countries and had a medium knowledge in programming Nowadays any illiterate can have access to the internet

I agree with that statement, though I'm not gay! That's why I use OpenBSD, the simplest thing to use (at least for me), if one doesn't mind to do admin shit from the command line.

Worse is better - (((lisp machines))) died out... a long time ago!

BTW, I don't have a desktop: ratpoison.

Was once a sys admin and a long time Mac user, then finances forced me to over to Windows (free computer). It went awry earlier this year and I'd had enough. Linux is getting the job done now. If, like me, you have mission critical apps that only run on Windows, then run them in VirtualBox on Linux.

Windows 10 is the new version of Windows Millennium Edition (which too was a clusterfuck)

Stay with windows 7, get a 64 bit motherboard and use the 64 bit version of Windows 7 ultimate and youll be fine.

Stop trying to be fucking trendy with the latest and greatest, because most times this is not actually the case.

I don't recommend Linux to anyone because it doesn't have the apps and/or games they need.

But it's really not so bad these days if you don't keep fucking with it, (like get bored and try to customize your desktop excessively).

I kinda went full circle: Used Linux on desktop because I thought that was cool but wasted many hours. Then I pitched that as a time waster and mostly used it only for work.

But then when using it for work I slowly realized between canonical cleaning it up for desktops and them and everyone going to a more minimalist philosophy on updates/features combined with USB (esp USB 3.0) obsoleting so much of the need for drivers it's pretty damned usable.
