Back on topic.... The rules have been expanded to hopefully decrease the amount of Bullshit we all have to scroll through.
I have seen wave upon wave of new users here, often after major events, and Yep, a good proportion of them are definitely here to cause division and infighting.
Cointelpro, jidf, whatever.
These aren't a major expansion, hopefully they will be enforced.

If you are,please say so, but if not, then making declarations that are not what the rule even says, and answering, on behalf of AA, a question directed at him, doesn't exactly add clarity. The guy you answered (when he hadn't asked you) gave an example that neither promotes, nor attacks, a religion. His example is clearly a type information we should share since we engage in the spreading of information and memes. In his example, we'd be sharing with other posters here how to better shoot down an argument they'll encounter if they argue against refugees.

That rule will just make hyper-sensitive people have even more of a hairtrigger if religion is even tangentially related to the post.

no. regular status is given out automatically, and revoked automatically as well when you no longer fit the requirements for it. there is no human intervention on it so far.
