As near as I can both the blog and the discussion forum scale to the window size. I don't see a difference in the iOS version and what runs on a desktop if I make the desktop window really small.

So, uh, did you increase the window size?

Anyway - I use Chrome on Linux, OSX, and Windows and have been in DS on all of them and have never noticed any issues.

Chrome OS is meant to be something like a mobile platform, thus it uses the mobile version of websites. You can change this usually by looking for a link on the page (typically on the bottom) that says "Switch to Desktop version" or something similar.

Note: I didn't see such a link on the DS website. But, here's an example from Wikipedia:

the whole page is so tiny that i cannot identify where it says "desktop version".. i'm using firefox now for DS.

i recently switched to chrome cause it gives you speech recognition and instant translation on google translate. firefox is slightly slimmer, faster on startup but chrome once it runs is a great browser.
