Q: Is this group active?
A: Yep
Q: Has this group had any meets?
A: Uh huh
Q: Mission?
A: Get us off our asses, active in offline networking, working on health/social skills/etc. Attending rallies as a coherent bloc. We're really more of a local support network, got something you can't face alone then we'll help you out. CT has an isolating culture, we're working against that.
Q: Getting in?
A: Yeah, just post here and send me a PM. One of us will talk to you briefly on Skype and then you'll get an invite to our discord.
Q: Vetting?
A: Always ongoing. Vetting decentralized, information centralized. Pretty much everyone has their eyes open and all concerns should be sent my way. We're each responsible for our own security here, this isn't an organization and there's no official hierarchy.
Q: What area do you cover?
A: For the moment the full state of CT. Once we grow larger we'll split by location. Membership is fluid, we're part of a greater network here. Join up if you think you could make meets occasionally, you're here on summer break, etc. We welcome members in other BCs or social clubs. Overlap is good for extended networking.
