Hooktube? Anybody knows this?

I just heard of hooktube.com for the first time. Apparently it is some sort of proxy for youtube videos that allows you playback youtube videos without any ads and censorship.

Does anybody know more about this? I mean it's ok if you have a link to a Jewtube video, you just replace "youtube" with "hooktube" and you see the video, but what good does it do when you dont have a link, like searching etc, I am not quite sure.

is this something to keep an eye on?
Or even something that makes sense?

That seems like a good candidate for a browser plugin of some sort - you'd have to search via the youtube search, but it would rewrite all the links with hooktube instead of youtube.

Hooktube - interesting, claims to bypass country/region censorship too.
