How to Sharpen a Chainsaw

And bar oil. I have to fill mine up almost twice per tank of 2stroke. Jonnies are known leakers tho

What I've been doing the past 4 or 5 years is to slobber a little bit of STP on the chain and the bar. I have no idea if it's helping anything,but I figure it can't be hurting.

Blast from the past. There were a few more of these comnercials,but this is the only one I could find.

And believe it or not,McCullogh chainsaws used to be pretty decent. Not what I'd call professional grade,but more than enough for weekend firewood cutting.

Isn't there supposed to be a Swedish manufacturer of chainsaw bars that is supposed to be the cats ass? Stihl still makes the best bars, but since I can't run them, I have to use Oregon.

Possibly Iggesund Forest. Thats the only Swede made bars im finding.

The guy's chainsaw is still very dull. It takes way morethan 3 strokes if saw is dull. You need to sharpen until you can't see light reflecting from edge of teeth.

Also, you should only use forward motion for the flat file. Sawing back and forth with a file ruins the file.
