Hey wolf... I am possibly interested in car-pooling with you to Charlottesville... I just don't have a reliable vehicle... But I can take care of all gas or other travel expenses... If you're interested, message me back here... I live right outside of Cumberland, MD and I don't know how that would figure into a travel plan, but I am at this point just attempting to locate others who could potentially work out a car-pool... If anyone in this Book Club is coming through or close to Hagerstown, MD or Cumberland, MD, or Morgantown, WV, I would love to catch a ride with you... I can pay for gas and/or contribute with shekels for other travel expenses... My book club (Morgantown) only has one other person currently, and he hasn't been responding to my messages after he expressed interest last week in going to Charlottesville...

(I don't yet know how to use private messaging on this site, but if someone could help me out with either that or in picking me up for Charlottesville, I would thank you greatly in advance)

So I just went through a few different mapping sites just to see, and I can't make it work. Please Stormers, if there are any of you in the area of the WV panhandle, contact these fine folk. I'd love to do it, but it would turn a 5 hour trip into 10 or more each way. Plus I don't want to go alone. I need Appalachians by my side in this.

Side note. If any of the folk in the panhandle area can make it to the Charleston WV area on the morning of, I could possibly pick you up from there and return you to there after UTR.
I am planning on staying the night and returning Sunday.

Side note here, but Huntington should not be the catch all for WV Stormer activity and events. I started this as a reach out to other WV areas. I spoke with another stormer about making a Charleston book club as our main point of contact. That seems to have fallen through. I do not want to be the point of contact, especially since I don't actually live in WV, but I am willing to accept TEMPORARY control of the issue until such a time as other book clubs can be formed.

The recent events in Charlottesville concerning our permit have emboldened me. I will be heading there, from Huntington, on RT 64. Any stormers along that highway that need a lift, please let me know.

Another last minute call, but I'll be heading to Unite the Right along I64 from Huntington through Charleston and Beckley to Charlottesville. I have 3 seats available. Come out for this historic even if you're able.
