Intel frequently appear on boycott Israel lists. Understandably so.
I specifically went for AMD in my last build (~2010, still going strong) and have no dramas with their hardware. AMD used to be the duck's nuts back in the early mid-2000s before Intel's "Core Duo" came on to the scene. I think AMD are well priced units and do just as good of a job with hardware demanding software.
As far the Intel vs AMD rivalry is concerned, I can say this: It's a matter of Israel vs China.
Of all the manufacturing and R&D facilities across the globe, AMD doesn't seem to have a presence in Israel. Intel has a manufacturing plant and their largest R&D centre there.
Intel/Israel/Jews want your money and to corrupt your soul.
On the other hand, AMD/China just want your money. AMD do a lot of business with and license technology to them.
I see the latter as the less of 2 evils. So I opted for AMD and will continue to do so for desktop computing. Those new AMD Ryzen chips seem pretty good and the upcoming Threadripper chip looks even better. Don't buy the Intel i9. Intel are just milking money from you.
I am interested in Raspberry Pi SBCs which are powered by ARM CPUs. ARM are a British company. They have a promising future with all this buzz about the IoT.
