Not exactly. Some of them have great stories, great gameplay, and great setting.
It's just a matter of finding the ones that challenge your mind.
I don't mind building satisfying relationships IRL, the difference between something like Uncharted and real-life though, is that if you miss the ledge, if you get shot in the wrong location, that's it for you. 
Playing video games, watching anime, reading manga, reading comics, watching cartoons, watching movies from the 80s and early 90s....
There's nothing wrong with that.
Just do everything in moderation, and be sure to workout and eat healthy. 
That's about it really.
Cut out soda out of your life completely, and should you consume soda, it should only be about 100 ml or even less than that.
I mean it should be really rare for you to even drink soda.
I admit I drinked maybe about 500 ml of Dr Pepper two days ago when I went to Wendy's and had two number 1s with small fries. 
But eating out is pretty rare for me, so it was sort of a treat tbh.
