If you have a full tight grip on the knife as if you where going to stab thumb forward will the blade unlock?

I ask because i am looking for a new blade and the D2 has me sold but the liner lock doesnt.

Yeah, liner locks are not my preferred design, but the Proelia is well done. I've never had any issues with it and the liner lock is stiff enough to be secure.

For my everyday carry I use this, it has a nice locking blade and the tools make it not a weapon.

For innawoods this is light and effective.

The D2 blade was a definite selling point for me.

D2 is the steel used for the blades on one of my wood chippers,if I remember the owner's manual correctly. I should think it would be an excellent knife blade material.

I'm partial to the Spyderco Endura, but carry a smaller, cheap knife for everyday tasks. Nutnfancy on YouTube has some extensive knife review videos for anyone who is new to the subject.

+1 for the spyderco endura although it's made in Japan. The spyderco military is more expensive but U.S. Made.

Just be careful don't know how well those cheap knives will hold up if you really use them if you know what I mean.

The Delica is a great smaller variation of an Endura. Perfect pocket tool.

Police model for bigger than Endura. They are all great tools. The Harpy is a real good small hook also. Spyderco probably has the best line of tools of all knife makers considering cost and quality.
