I appreciate the heads up on these, despite not being able to make them! However, and I am guilty of this too, we need to try and give better warning in here if we are going to get us together in significant numbers.
Let's find some more things to attend, let's make some more things to attend.
Did anyone listen to this recent interview by Lana:
I think they have got pretty good ideas about getting networked, vetting, and how to build community.
Generally, the things put forward here have been events that are within the active movement and often they involve going into London.
I used to live in London, I don't live there anymore. There's a reason for that: it's full of shitskins and I find it horrible and depressing. While of course I am prepared to override this distaste when necessary, I am more averse to it than doing something totally social out in this beatiful country of ours, Blighty!
Would anyone be interested in doing something a little more relaxed somewhere?
I think hiking, as suggested in the above video would be a great idea. There is the metaphor of the journey, the invigoration of being out in the world and the elements, the perfect opportunity to talk everything right wing, there is the healthness of the excercise and there is always a pub somehwere to aim for. Pack a frisbee or a football maybe and what better opportunity to form a nucleus of the London DSBC IRL?
