Dunno if you've been to them before but I heard good things about Kelley's Music. I've dabbled in mandolin but my hands are just too clumsy to play well.
When I say music stores I am thinking records and cds. Lynchburg does not have good music stores. I was hoping Roanoke would have better ones. I used to sing/scream in a hardcore punk band in DC back in the early 90's when I was an anarchist. My voice is shot now. Have been thinking of picking up an acoustic guitar but am not committed to the idea yet.
I just listen to music via streaming so I have no idea if there is an analog music store here. I don't think I've bought music in a physical medium since the early 2000's.
What are you into this weekend? A comrade and I are hanging out and I have the time to either travel or or you could come this way.
