I was a massive metalhead. I have a real hard time listening to a lot of it now. I usually just revisit albums of my youth I loved.
Chuck Schuldinger's father was Jewish and his mother a convert. He wasn't a full heeb.
William Pierce hated Death Metal. I understand why one can hate the majority of metal, it is nihilistic garbage. The lot of it. I loved Black Metal but look at the state of it. The defense of metal always comes down to "muh musicianship". A lot of these musicians are perennial losers. The fans are losers which explains the inclusiveness of fans. This is why Gaahl, Masvidal, and Halford are so accepted. Death In June, not metal but a lot of metalhead fans, is a raging homo where songs of his about having gay bathroom sex with a damn priest is linked to and lauded on twitter.
The entire metal journalist culture is in full SJW mode. Artists who espouse basic-bitch right wing arguments are trashed in the metal media.
I stick to some of the old classics. There are a handful of newer bands I listen to but if and when they espouse some leftist bullshit I immediately drop them forever. The Black Metal aesthetic has become very tired and boring.
