well my bikes are all old craps from late 70's- 90's mostly old cb . i get them in shed for 50 bucks those kinds of things

got them back to work, port the head, strip them down and more or less cafe them...sometime i put the better of engine of one in the other, transplant better carbs that i got as trash etc

ive rode new bikes too but they were never mine. it always amazed me how wealthy people with awsome bikes loved my old craps( some of them with the 900 engine and my shorter gearing were dangerous fast still)

I've heard that those skinny front tires fall into turns, and not in a good way.
I lack the height for it to make ergonomic or aesthetic sense, but I think many would prefer something along these wheel proportions.

I'm one for the standard position with feet down under my butt, but not right under, and a slight forward lean.

I can't imagine the "bent in half" highway peg and ape hanger combo. I don't want my weight on my tailbone.

Some days I really do miss my Ninja!

2 stroke 80's are wheelie machines, 250's are straight up animals, 500's are just,well, insanely rediculous. Thats all i can come up with. A well modded 250 is insane fast.

Hell yeah. Those RGVs, NSRs and KR1 250cc 2-smokers can keep the pace with 600cc 4 strokes.

I WANT TO RIDE!!!! only 17. no gibs for moneys. Very sad! want the FZ07 but unrealistic beginner bike even if I were older. Settling for Duke 390. Maybe I should eventually start with a duel sport. Those are supposed to be good beginner bikes right?

You can't find a NInja 250 on craigslist? They were cheap to start with, and people use them for a season and want something bigger so ther used market is usually pretty flush with them. FYI, they are a fairly standard seating position despite the name.
