If you still like "jam band" music without the rainbows-flowers-unicorns bullshit, there are a few bands I'd recommend because they 1) are largely instrumental, and 2) actually rock instead of making faggot ballads.

I'm into a lot of different music. I started playing im a jam band in 2002 and we made decent money. I wasn't really into jam music until I was exposed to it, I've always been into alternative and metal. Can't stand the grateful dead. lol

They're phenomenal.

Their skill and production values are top-tier -- although I probably don't need to say so.

Intense live shows, as well... when they're actually touring, that is.

Shamefully obscure -- but Trey Spruance (band leader) never cared at all for trying to "top the charts" to begin with.
