The thing is, if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the only way one can reach God and be saved, exclusively, then you're a Christian and you will go to heaven.
Because you're saved by grace and not by actions. You literally cannot attone for any sin you may have anymore with any kind of sacrifice. That's the core point, someone made that sacrifice for you.
If you deny that or if somehow you follow a doctrine that contradicts this paradigm, then you're not one.
It is really simple to be honest.

I'm not a mystic myself, but if you want to indulge in such things and still be a Christian, refer to the rule above and see if your quasi-religious practice conflicts with it.
You cannot half-believe in Christ, like some people who say he was a good teacher. Instead of Son of God, and God.

I think of mysticism as any practice or philosophy that is centered around being conscious of a direct connection between God and oneself. mysticism is trying to identify where God and Man come together. when that foghorn blows you know I'll be going home and together we will ride into the mystic

Although this may seem counter-intuitive for a fash, listen/read Robert Anton Wilson. I haven't read any of his books for years, but occasionally listen to some of his old interviews (he passed on in 2017). The reason I say it is counter-intuitive, is because of some of the circles he was associated with. The man was very informed on science, spiritual thinking, politics, and wrote stories based on conspiracy theories. Wilson could best be described as agnostic, on everything.

This is one of his best interviews. He discusses at some length about secret societies (including the Rosicrucians). He inadvertently touches on the fact that the (((shoah))) may have been a product of British Intelligence during World War II. Don’t let the fact that RAW is being interviewed about Aleister Crowley scare you off.
