That's because they didn't have exposure to the kike like we do now-a-days. I read an unofficial "official" history of the Jews once and according to the author Jews mainly stayed within their communities until about 200 years or so ago (as in didn't mingle with the goyim, only high-powered Jews did) so if that is true then Washington and the other Fathers could have been naïve on the JQ.
