It's a range, campground, off road park, all sorts of fun and games. You can shoot whatever you like, don't think they're ok with full auto, but who could afford to feed a weapon at that rate anyway? The road last time was shitty, doesn't necessarily require 4wd to access the range, but some ground clearance wouldn't hurt.

I know people who have shot .50 BMG out there before. I don't even think there's any range staff or anything, just a sign that says "don't make a mess please" or some shit.

They have a range safety officer on weekends, but I try to avoid those days. Too many morons with no etiquette, and I can't practice shooting from behind cover, while walking, etc with others there.

It's seen a drastic turn for the better, surprisingly enough. The sons of the original owner took over, cleaned it up. The range is amazing now, not littered with dead televisions and trash. It's a lot better than it once was.
