I was wondering if a member had to have a certain post count before editing a post that's in wiki mode or sending someone a private message. I'm not seeing how to do either.
This site seem to keep the requirements for various privileges unpublished, presumably to prevent infiltrator gaming, but there seems to be a post count (or possibly like count or other algorithm) before one can initiate a PM.
I think the mods just go through new users or somebody does every few weeks and promotes people making posts on a regular basis, could be automated but some people seem to be basic users for ages even after posting loads of good stuff so idk.
Seems it's just a time thing. I've been here a bit so now I'm good to go.
