Spencer didn't organise this event. Jason Kessler did. During the press conference he clearly said he disagreed with the way it was organised.

Spencer is a genuinely likeable guy. If he presents himself in the same way at that event in Texas next month, I think we may be able to recover some lost ground.

I think that it was the Paki trying to take the moral high ground and denigrate all present with her ridiculous and offensive question to the rest of the press (as if Spencer wasn't in the room or worthy of address) knocked him off his stride a bit.
