LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police told a man to get down after climbing on the John Breckinridge statue.

It happened Sunday evening outside the historic courthouse where the statues currently sit.

Police say he was holding a flag identifying himself as part of the alternate right movement., and he got down rather quickly.

Police did not arrest or cite the man involved.
