I maybe criticized for this, but technically it is an "orc", not an ork. Further, the largest ones are Uruk-Hai, created by Saruman for the Last War of Middle Earth. The usual orc could be defeated by a regular man fairly easily, but they would travel in large groups, terrorizing the Country side. See Here:
Regular negros in the USA are orcs, dangerous in large groups but can be defeated by a man. Armed they are dangerous unless the man is armed also and then orcs are at a disadvantage because they really can't handle weapons well.
Uruk-hai are the testosterone bloated orcs built for the last war here on Earth. They will bring down and destroy a White man unless he is very well trained in weapons. In the last stages of the old former United States of American, Uruk-hai were kept as pets by owners of sports teams as men might keep fighting dogs. After the revolution, the Northwest Republic expelled all the orcs living in the Northwest.
