Meh again: male cats are douchebags: I have a "Hitler" cat, also, and he's a dick; I like female cats more than the other gender - more sociable and useful! Though the female ones are prone to waste birds (I don't like that) alongside rats/mice. Never saw a mice in da house in years, except the ones brought in by our cats.

Years ago one of my cats brought in a snake wiggling in her mouth, LOL, though it wasn't fun for me, because it was a poisonous one (mildly - European's snakes, not like African's or like American's or worse Ausfwalian's - the deadliest types)!

I think male cats might tend to be dicks more often than females but not all of them are. I've had some really sweet ones. Dude is kind of a dick but mostly to other cats and not people although he has lately had a few episodes of biting people for literally no reason. Like I was sitting next to him on the couch not touching him or anything and he just starts biting me. IDK why he's started doing that either.

Your comment about females and hunting is interesting. I've always had indoor-only cats so I haven't had much experience with hunting instinct. The one cat I've had that I know was a natural born killer was female and was kept indoors from the age of 5 weeks so she had no opportunity to learn hunting skills from her mother. She was so crazy to get the birds outside she pushed a pane of glass out of a window one time and would kill any bug or other critter that wandered in my house. She killed fast too, with a single minded focus that cats are famous for. I guess it makes sense that female cats have more of a killer instinct because it is they that teach all their kittens to hunt if they're feral or outdoor cats.

With female cats you have a mother-offspring (you toward the cat) and the reverse mother-offspring (cat toward you) relationship: that means that when you feed the female cat is the former (and the dominant pattern), and the later is when the cat brings you game (poor birds and filthy rats), as she does to feed (and train to hunt) her "children"; a relationship between male cats and a huwyte peoplez is more like between niggers and whites: gibsmedat cat food muffuggah, and gibsme the occasional stroke behind the ears - meeeoow!

How can you live in a flat?! I'm a village idiot; I'm unable to dwell in a city, and neither can my cats - they'd go insane without going out in the garden... where moving little beings dwell!

It's just where I've always lived. And in most of those places there were roads with fast moving traffic right outside my door, thus making it too dangerous to have outside cats.
