I forgot to mention that at the meet-up last Sunday w/@wiking_pepe & @Mclendon......it was decided that at a meet up in Titusville on a day that coincides with a rocket launch for the sole purpose of a group pic is mandatory

I would love to go to the inauguration. However money might be an issue for me, since last time I checked hotel rates were through the roof. But definitely keep me in the loop because I am interested in going.

They have the last launch of this year sometime next week. I don't think it will be enough notice for most people. A complication with attending a launch is the possibility that they may scrub the launch due to weather or a mechanical issue. It will be awesome, tho. We will figure something out after they release next years launch schedule.

@TheSicilian @TheFash u guys also have @TheNatural @TeenageCavemaan & @prelag They should see these messages but make sure you communicate with them directly. In addition to those 3, hopefully a few lurkers and a few new forum members join the Tampa group. Also join TRS forum. They have a florida group that may have a member in your area. I need to joun myself. JudenJager outside of Gainesville just joined TRS. If you need help w/ that just send Jager a message.

Weather predictions are usually correct a week in advance for 90% of unmanned missions. The only rockets launching right now are Atlas V & Delta IV. The last Delta IV technical issue was Dec. 2014 that resulted in a scrub. Since then there haven't been any at Cape that were scrubbed for technical issues with those two. SpaceX is always a bust, as I think we here all know.

I imagine the time would also be an issue for most people. Launch dates aren't reliable until at least 1 month to 2 weeks prior.

That might work for me. As for input, I get off work around 5:30, so assuming it'll be in Tampa, you'll need to spot me at least an hour before I can get there. Heh, maybe a bit more seeing how I got lost on the way to the last meetup I tried to attend and had to spend about 15-20 minutes finding my way to the spot... I guessed my ass off at certain points and made a number of U-turns, but oddly I got there right on time since I left 20 minutes early.
