Go ask your car insurance company how much the premium (full coverage, because such a car would be financed) would be for such a car with an 18 year old driver. Be sitting down when you hear the quote, because the monthly payments for the insurance will likely be higher than the car payments themselves. Under 21 (M or F, doesn't matter anymore) is the most expensive drivers to insure. Now put that guy (or gal) in a car with a 300hp motor (that's the standard engine) and you can hear the cash register ringing really loud.
