Post your favourite video games here.
I'll start with Dishonored. Great gameplay and a great plot.

I wanted to like Dishonored but I lost interest because it got too easy. The powers you get are too powerful and the guards are blind as fuck.

Right now, I just finished a Witcher 2 playthrough and am playing Nier Automata, which I definitely recommend. 2B is best gynoid!

Crusader Kings 2. Expel the Jews, wage Crusades, practice eugenics in your dynasty. What's not to like?

I'm also playing Nier, and think it's pretty great. And that's from coming off of Horizon Zero Dawn, which is hard to follow (despite the pozz in the game).

HZD was amazing, the best game I played since Witcher 3. I think I'm gonna have to go with Witcher 3 as my favorite game of all time.

Childhood favorites include Final Fantasy 7-9, Xenogears, Chrono Cross, and Chrono Trigger.

Next games I have lined up are Witcher 3: Blood and Wine and Persona 5.

Hands down the best SNES RPG. FF6 is a very close second.

Easily. I hope they remaster is someday. Remaster specifically, not remake. I fear the remake of Final Fantasy 7 is going to be an epic letdown. I hope not but Square Enix has been masterful at destroying the FF franchise. FF 15 was completely worthless and gay.

The last FF game I played and liked was 8. I didn't care too much for 9, and I gave up on the series after 10. I honestly felt embarrassed playing it and quit halfway through.

I loved 7-9 equally, like they were my children. 10 was the first disappointment, 12 was worse, 13 was a joke, and 15 was even more of a joke.

Any opinions on the MMOs and X-2?

I only played a few hours of X-2. I remember liking the fast paced combat, but I couldn't get past that fact that it was a contrived sequel with only female characters. Never played the MMOs and have always resented the fact that they even did MMOs. I did have a friend a few years ago who was obsessed with FF 11 tho, he swore by it.

For me it was FFVII I think, the one with Sepheroth. I didn't 'get' the way they just change the story and world each fcking time. I'd busted weeks and weeks on that, maxing out characters to the hilt. No cross-over no skill transfer, no continuity but just 'Here's a new set of characters and world'. Maybe it's a Japanese thing where they do this re-launch sht but I'm not keen on that. That's not the western way!
